Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at collingwoodoffroadcycling@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Collingwood Offroad Cycling (CORC) is a social mountain bike club that offers private , marked mountain bike trails for its members and weekly marked rides at several venues for ~16 weeks starting in late May. A social Apres event is offered every other Thursday after the marked ride. See our about page for more

You can register with this link for $60 for Adults and $20 for Youth Under 18 - this includes insurance charges and your access to Private Trails and the ability to join Social Rides ($5 per event extra for adults) and the year end ride (included).

There is also a $100 Social Adult Pass that includes all the Social fees & registrations in one convenient Checkout.

There are no day passes or 'buddy passes' for private CORC trails.

For guests the option would be to support local trails with the $60 membership or to ride one of the local public  venues including 3-stage, Loree, Kolapore or Dufferin Forest.

  • Please check out the trails page for details
  • Your membership gets you access to Highlands Cluster, Craigleith and special 'one night only' social events + an included year end event.
  • CORC also does maintenance on 3-stage / Pretty River so your membership supports those trails too!

We offer approximately 2 rides per month with an 'Apres' Social. Our rides are generally on Thursdays in June, July and August with the first and last rides happening on weekends in hopes that more members can attend and to allow for bigger rides!

These rides may be on public trails (e.g. 3-stage or Kolopore) or on Private properties that CORC members get exclusive access to for that Thursday Night only!

Our Social nights are built on the model of Squamish  / SORCA, which started as 'Loonie' and 'toonie' rides 20 years ago!

This fee helps cover the expenses associated with hosting an event including insurance, gas, food, staff etc. Sponsors for each night help contribute to this and any excess is meant to support trail building.

Social rides are only open to current CORC members and cost $5 for adults and are free for youth members. **The marked route is open to all members and is included with a CORC membership**

  • We also aim to send a newsletter 1-2 x monthly in the winter and weekly in spring/summer

Collingwood has historically been fairly technical and physically demanding. We are working to add more variable terrain for all abilities

This is a focus for Highlands and the other properties we have access to. We will be utilising Trail Forks APP (get it here) this year and increasing our marking, arrows and signage.

  • Please see the AGM page here
  • The annual meeting has been typically held in the Spring just before the start of the riding season to allow for sticker pickup. It includes a a review of the club financials by an accountant and the club plans/budget for the upcoming year and welcoming new and returning directors.
  • Further details on governance, meetings, financials are available in our bylaws

  • At this time the only restriction is that the E-bike requires pedaling (Class 1) and can't be an E-motorcycle (throttle operated / Class 2)
  • All riders should follow the CODE OF CONDUCT (e.g. respect trail users, land owners and the enviroment)
