These are smaller and more specialized roles that are also SUPER IMPORTANT to our club's success! These roles require specific skills but less time weekly.
As CORC grows the need for grant applications to aid in trail development and maintenance is crucial. We welcome any experince in this area. This candidate would work along side the advocacy director and commitee.
Work with directors to isolate needs and communicate and organize members for trail builds, events, socials, and other. Candidate should be great with email, commmunication and love being in-person at events, boosting the fun/enthusiasm!
Support the sponsorship administrator with creating and maintaining relationships with our supportors. May include digital or inperson volunteer work.
This person (or persons) would be familar with email software and/or social media (instagram/facebook) . Compose weekly newsletters and monitor social messages. Post to social frequently. Communicate with Board of Directors on content (via google docs etc)
This group would work with the trail director to action specific trail tasks ranging from marking trails, marking courses for events, on-trail maintenance, organizing/leading trail build nights.
This group would work with the Event Administrator and the directors to plan/run/volunteer/setup our social rides, marked loops, Season opener bike swap and final big ride (stick a corc in it).
These volunteer roles are the main drivers of CORC. They are our biggest volunteers, supporters and dreamers! It is a great core group that works hard to deliver on their roles and continues to redefine what CORC is. These roles can take up to 10 hours (or more) a week during busy weeks.
Plan and deliver CORC weekly events and 2 weekend events. Develop other special events. This role would be supported by the current CORC events administrator role and events volunteers.
Requires knowledge of trails, mapping, advocacy, funding, working with volunteer groups and kids. Knowledge/experience in project management and/or trail building experience.
This role does a little bit of everything. It is a larger but flexible role to help with certain committees/areas (trails, advocacy, events, organization). Experience with scaling, project management, and/or organizational structure would be an asset.
The secretary works closely with the President and other directors. This role involves organizing documents, help create agendas for meetings, may include any/all of the digital volunteer roles for newsletters and/or social media. Basic Website maintenance/updating.
